About the Role:

Southland Hospital, Invercargill is seeking a Part-time Administration Officer to join our Maternity Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly performing and supportive team, working 0.6FTE (24 hours per week).

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a busy administration role, who is competent and confident using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. You will have excellent word processing and data entry skills, with a strong eye for detail and a flexible approach to prioritizing your workload.

As our Service runs 24/7, you will work across a seven day roster, including evenings and weekends. You will be required to maintain effective electronic and paper filing systems, coordinate Birth Notifications, arrange outpatient clinic appointments, and provide administrative support to midwife managers when needed.

Salary and Benefits:

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 3C between Step 1 $65,627 and Step 3 $70,024 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
