About the Role
The City Life directorate delivers personalised and public services to enhance community life, including family, aged, leisure and cultural services.
The Administrative Officer supports the Coordinator Compliance and is responsible for providing a range of administrative and support services, including diary management, records management, and routine correspondence, to support the effective operation of the Compliance and Community Safety Business Unit.
About You
Reporting to the Manager Compliance and Community Safety, the successful candidate will see themselves:
Within the area of responsibility, this role is required to:
Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Respond to email and phone enquiries, communicate services and resolve, escalate or redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
Update and maintain records, portals and databases to ensure that all information is accurately and correctly stored and accessible.
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum secondary school completion and/or relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with business systems including use of appropriate software, data bases and portals.
