Are you a detail oriented person who enjoys getting the job done?
This is primarily about getting about 30 orders a day out by 2pm. It includes entering them into the system and packing them. The additional tasks include ordering stock and the first round of chasing up late debtors.

We sell temperature loggers (for automatically recording the temperature in fridges and freezers) and sell them into the medical and hospitality industries. We believe in exceptional service and this role is a critical part of it. You will also have the chance to save lives because that's what our products do.
THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
Processing Quote, Orders and Invoices through MYOB (training provided)
Packing orders
Optionally the role can also include
Review of Stock Levels and ordering accordingly – entering in goods in MYOB on arrival of stock.
Inventory forecasting of stock and following up back orders
Purchasing from our Domestic and International Suppliers for all and organising Trades for payment.
Arranging / overseeing Services in and out of the business
Following up late payers

We are located in Castle Hill NSW 2154. We support our locals, so we ideally want a local person. This is NOT A REMOTE ROLE. We are not supporting Visa applications. You must live locally.
We are also a non-smoking environment and will not employ a smoker.
ABOUT THE HOURS AND ROLE
We are after someone to come in 5 days a week, a minimum of 5 hours a day (or full time). Orders are picked up between 2 and 3pm. This role is about processing the orders received via email or directly, and then packing them.
Practically this is about 4 hours of work and the remaining time would be used in assisting with tasks like ordering stock or possibly following up debtors. Please let us know what additional experience or skills you have that we can use.
This role is probably not suitable for a parent with primary school children. It is a very school hours friendly role and would suit a parent trying to work between the drop-off and pickup hours, BUT we can NOT offer extended leave during school holidays. You will only have the standard 4 weeks leave.
ABOUT YOU (skills and capabilities)
You are able to work unsupervised and happy to "just get the job done". We are also a small company, so you are a nice and friendly person.
You need to have a sense of humour (we believe a good laugh and a smile can change someone’s day) and be open to instruction / discussion / feedback.
Computer savvy ~ you must know your way around computers and MYOB skills are a bonus but not essential. We will provide training, but don't want someone who "hates computers".
You must have full working rights in Australia. You must live in Sydney NSW, ideally within 5km of the office.
