Administration & Scheduling Manager

Overview:

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Administration and Scheduling Manager is responsible for scheduling the program areas, the invoicing of lease & contractual services, the staffing of guest services & programs and the general office management for the J.D.A. County Sportsplex

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Scheduling and programing of the Sportsplex Program Areas – Responsible for scheduling and programming the Sportsplex program areas including; the ice pads, fieldhouse, meeting rooms, ball diamonds and athletic fields.

· Lease and Contract Administration – Assist with administration of leases and contracts within the facility including fitness area, concession, vending machines, sponsorship, and advertising.

· Special Event Planning – Working closely with volunteer organizations and groups this position is responsible for assisting with the planning of tournaments and special events.

· Sportsplex Promotion & Marketing Management – Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Sportsplex social media, website, digital campaigns, promotional materials, and marketing initiatives.

· Sportsplex Administration - Manage the day-to-day accounting, invoicing, cash management, internal financial reporting of the Sportsplex, payroll and working cooperatively with NRI accountants and auditors to ensure that regular financial obligations are met.

Staff Management – Responsible for the supervision and management of guest services and program staff including recruitment, training and performance management and assists with resource management for all Sportsplex employees.

· Customer Service – Responds to the needs of the public, assists with public complaints, and provides exceptional customer service.

· Staff Team Member – Participates as a member of the Nustadia Recreation Inc. and Sportsplex management teams contributing to policy development, strategic planning, budgeting, and business planning.

· Safe, Efficient Operation – Working as a member of the Sportsplex management team ensures implementation and adherence to approved policies and practices related to safe, effective, and cost-effective aspects of the assigned work operation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide input into other Nustadia Recreation Inc. facilities and projects, as required.

· Attends and provides input at Facility Management Review Team (FMRT) quarterly meetings.

· Special Projects – Manages assigned special projects.

· Other related duties – other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Diploma in Administration.

· Ability to use various computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, ActiveNet and Sage.

· Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

University or College degree in Business Administration.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Three to five years’ experience in office management, human resource management and program administration.

Ability to prepare a variety of written materials (reports, budgets) for the purpose of documenting activities and conveying information.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Flexible working hours, required to work evenings and weekends.

Reliable vehicle and class 5 driver’s license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $72,800.00-$76,+60.00 per year
