The Role:

Public Health Services works to improve and protect the health and wellbeing of all Tasmanians

The Strategic and Business Support Unit provides whole-of-Public Health Services corporate, business and administrative, and strategy and governance support.

The Administration Support Officer reports through the Corporate and Operations stream, providing a wide range of administrative and executive support services to staff, management and clients of Public Health Services to support business activities and projects.

You will need:

Sound knowledge of basic accounting procedures, together with experience using financial information systems and investigating and resolving issues relating to financial transactions.

Knowledge of, and experience in, day to day office management activities within a contemporary office environment.

High level coordination skills with the ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion relating to working in a professional environment. Ability to troubleshoot and investigate issues and anomalies and proactively contribute to resolution and improvement activities.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:

$73,811 to $7+,77+ per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
