Job Description
The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Abbotsford, BC, is looking for a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Associate, providing dedicated support in administrative, investment & money management activities for a high performing Advisory team.
What will you do?
Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).
Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
Other ad hoc and administrative responsibilities as needed.
What do you need to succeed?
Successful completion of CSC/CPH
Exceptional client service skills and experience
Administrative experience preferably from another firm
Nice-to-have
Knowledge around Dominion Securities systems an asset
Undergraduate degree
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the investment field working as an assistant/associate
Past experience with PIM trading execution

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected base salary range for this position is $37,500 - $45,000.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
