Position Overview
Alzheimer Groupe (AGI) Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to support our team this summer. Funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program, this role is ideal for a student who is passionate about community work, non-profit administration, and supporting individuals affected by dementia. The successful candidate will report to the Office Manager and be responsible for a range of administrative and data management tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of AGI’s operations and fundraising efforts.

Job Type
· In-Office - 35 hours/week,
· 8 weeks of employment with a tentative start date of June 16, 2026
· Monday through Thursday +:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday +:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
· Salary Range: $16.10 - $18.25
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general administrative tasks to support the office and team.
Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
Support the coordination and preparation of events and presentations.
Maintain and update donor accounts in database:
Correct, delete, or re-enter data of existing accounts as needed.
Identify and resolve duplicate accounts and inconsistent entries.
Cross-reference data and verify accuracy.
Clean and segment email lists in emailing platform:
Standardize formatting.
Remove bounced, inactive, or invalid emails.
Segment lists based on campaign or event.
Generate reports/summaries to track data quality improvements.
Help implement internal data cleaning protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Post-secondary program (college) in any field.
Fluency in English is required, French is an asset but not mandatory.
Strong computer and digital literacy skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
