Job description
Adecco is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our client's busy construction site in Londonderry, NS. This is a 6-month contract opportunity ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, preferably in a construction or project-driven environment.
You will play a crucial role in supporting on-site operations by ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication, and efficient coordination across teams. This position offers a fast-paced, hands-on experience where your organizational skills will directly impact the success of the project.
• Pay rate: $25/hour.
• Location: Londonderry, NS
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
• Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
• Review employee timesheets for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers to confirm and submit weekly hours for payroll.
• Maintain and update purchase order logs and expense records.
• Organize and review project documents, permits, and reports. Coordinate submissions with the Document Manager.
• Assist the Site Manager with scheduling, meeting coordination, and reporting.
Requirements:
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Prior experience in administrative roles, preferably in construction or project management
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is considered an asset
