The Role
Covetrus is a global animal health organisation providing a range of integrated services which drive improved clinical and financial outcomes for vets and pet owners. We are currently seeking an Administration professional who has an interest in finance to join our Northgate team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, head office finance team and be part of a global organisation that makes a positive impact to our vet customers and pet owners. We have a fun, social (and pet-friendly) office and put a focus on recognising our staff.
Your responsibilities will include –
Maintaining the Accounts Receivable inbox including responding to basic queries, requests for statements or invoices, and distribution of information to relevant team members.
Daily banking and cash receipting.
Processing credit card payments and following up with declined payments as required.
Assisting with new account applications and set up.
Administration support including data entry, filing, and archiving.
About You
Ideally you will display –
Minimum one years’ experience in an administrative role in a high volume environment (ideally with some exposure to finance though not essential).
Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with queries from internal/external stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience using MS Excel and/or ERP software (desirable).
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Reliability and flexibility to work within a changing and fast paced environment.
A friendly and collaborative demeanour to work within a cohesive finance team.
