About The Role

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: 23 Princes Street, Derry, BT48 7EY

Salary: £21,840 per annum.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, +:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in office organisation and provide essential support to senior staff in their administrative needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with the chance to grow and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to senior staff, including communicating with stakeholders, organising diaries, setting up meetings, and managing correspondence.

• Compile and coordinate responses for EIAs and other planning-related documents.

• Manage general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

• Organise and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.

• Respond to emails and handle telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist in maintaining office efficiency by implementing organisational systems and procedures.

Skills And Qualifications

• A degree or related qualification in business administration, office management, or a similar field is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential.

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a professional or technical environment.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
