Depot Admin Assistant – Eastleigh (Full-Time, Permanent)
📍 Eastleigh Depot
💼 37.5 hours per week

This is a hands-on admin role that sits right at the heart of a busy, fast-paced depot operation. You'll be the go-to support for everything from job sheet creation and hire quotes to customer calls and purchase orders. It’s varied, it’s people-facing, and it keeps the depot running smoothly day in, day out.
What you’ll be doing:
• Creating delivery and off-hire notes for equipment
• Building and sending out quotations for new and existing clients
• Handling incoming calls and customer queries
• Preparing job sheets for engineers
• Raising purchase orders and helping manage hire systems (InspHire, Goldmine)
• Chasing outstanding quotes and keeping databases updated
• Supporting both yard and office teams with day-to-day admin
• Taking on extra depot coordination tasks when managers are away
• Keeping your workspace tidy and following all health & safety protocols
What we’re looking for:
• Strong admin and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, both with customers and colleagues
• Good with numbers and attention to detail
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and ideally systems like InspHire or Goldmine
• Flexible, proactive, and reliable
• Someone who enjoys being part of a team that actually gets stuff done
