Responsibilities
Job Summary: Job incumbent provides clerical, administrative and program support essential for the Tribal Development Division operations, ensuring the consistent flow of incoming/outgoing communications, documentation requirements, planning workshops, scheduling travel and other business office procedures
Position will primarily be responsible for mapping out travel arrangements for employees, compact villages and authorized representatives of TCC, including lodging purchase requisitions as needed
This may include booking flights, arranging ground transportation and per diem
Incumbent is also responsible for the reconciliations of all travel related statements to ensure timely processing
Adhere to the TCC Ch’eghwtsen’ model of service and guiding principle which requires providing timely and effective service along with the ability to interact with others in a way that inspires trust and demonstrates respect, compassion and empathy
Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties
Processes travel requests
Arranges reservations and routing for travelers using timetables, airline manuals, reference guides, and tariff book
Communicates with traveler to provide traveler with confirmation codes and itinerary
Advice of changes in flight plan or to cancel or confirm reservations as needed
Submits travel authorizations to Accounting/Travel calculating and processing per diem
Maintains file of all travel authorizations and verifies for all appropriate signatures
Computes per diem and mileage if needed for traveler using CONUS per diem breakdown
Reconciles credit card statements verifying travel was completed by card holders, processing in a timely manner
Coordinates with travel coordinators, to ensure correct information is provided to guarantee payment for perdiem, travel costs and reimbursable expenses
Prepare, track and review purchase requests, manages p-card and p-card reports, payment requests, invoices, travel authorizations, trip reports, and other travel documentations as needed
Provide backup support for any program within the Tribal Development Division
Performs other job related duties as assigned
