Administrative Assistant III
• Facilitates departmental operations and supports department members during all orientation sessions
• Coordinates scheduling of academic advisors and new students advisees
Manages student employees (work study and lab assistants)
• Advertises positions, conduct interviews for student positions, hires and supervises student employees
• Provides assigned tasks on a daily/weekly basis
• Provides guidance on developing professional office behavior and models workplace decorum
• Collects and audits student employee time sheets
Perform other job-related duties as assigned, requested or required
• A High school diploma/or GED is required. An Associate's degree, or vocational/technical school degree is preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications, BlackBoard, and Sharepoint
• Excellent communication skills. Strong writing and editing skills
This position requires testing in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Customer Service skills, and filing
