Job Title: Administrative Assistant - People Operations
A leading construction and plant hire firm, Spencer - Richardson, is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to support the business units and drive culture across teams.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and knowledge of GDPR and ISO 27001. Previous experience supporting a People Team is essential, with a CIPD Level 3 or working towards desirable.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage employee life-cycles, including issuing contracts, onboarding, training, and offboarding processes efficiently.
• Draft accurate employment contracts and necessary correspondence to ensure compliance.
• Collate and issue new starter packs promptly to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate records within our HR system for easy access and reporting.
• Track probationary periods and conduct DBS and RTW checks to guarantee employee safety and security.
• Collaborate closely with payroll for seamless onboarding and benefits management.
• Provide first-line support for people-related queries and requests from colleagues.
• Manage the team inbox and assist with large-scale projects to maintain productivity.
To Be Successful:
• Minimum 1 year's experience as an administrator or coordinator in a similar role.
• High emotional intelligence with confidentiality handling and discretion.
• Knowledge of GDPR and ISO 27001 regulations to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Solutions-focused problem solver with a collaborative mindset.
Requirements:

Salary Range:
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on relevant experience.
