Our equipment & computerized management system is of the latest technology. We keep our equipment up to date and properly maintained. Our team’s goal is to save our clients time and money. At LAD's Auto, we work on a wide variety of vehicles. Vehicles can be domestic or foreign, new or old, cars, trucks and some medium duty. If you like the challenge of working on all makes and models of cars and trucks, we have a position for you! Qualifications/ Technical Skills : Ability to communicate effectively (Ability to read, write, & speak English fluently) Computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows & Office) Utilize management system parts matrix Physically fit to perform required duties of job description Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute Basic knowledge of vehicles Has neat and legible writing Familiar with TD payment system Familiar with Nortel Networks telephone system Credentials : Customer Service Diploma / Accreditation / Certification / Training Office Administration Diploma / Accreditation / Certification / Training Valid high school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license, must supply driver’s abstract upon request Computer software knowledge (Shop management systems) Bondable Duties & Responsibilities : General Administrative Tasks Accounting tasks Answer telephone promptly and courteously with shop approved greeting Maintain a clean and tidy facility / personal workstation Utilize parts bin system provided by facility Manage parts, inventory, returns and warranties Book, organize and set up training room for rentals Customer shuttling and parts pick up Other duties as assigned Performance Expectations / Personal Attributes Teamwork Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Conflict Resolution Skills - Is able to handle stressful situations when required Adhere to shop safety standards, taking all possible precautions to insure the safety and health of self and others through maintaining a safe work environment Understands & demonstrates the ability to accept change in a positive manner Displays flexibility, creativity, and an enthusiastic attitude towards team environment Develop & maintain positive / professional relationships with suppliers Attend and participate in shop meetings Respect Displays integrity and trustworthiness Treats others honestly and respectfully Approaches others with courtesy Promotes equality and fairness Maintain office equipment and property Professional Conduct Maintain prompt, professional, & effective communication in every aspect of business Desire to adhere to mandatory systems & procedures Expect, attend, & appreciate all forms of pertinent training Committed to professionalism and top performance in the automotive industry Meet professional appearance standards of LAD’S AUTO Demonstrates positive attitude & self-motivation Able to perform multiple tasks with low levels of apparent stress Able to perform multiple tasks with confidence, accuracy & effectiveness Resourceful in enhancing skills and abilities Must follow code of conduct as outlined by company policy.
