Primary Objectives
This role seeks an experienced executive assistant to support the Founding Principal of Wiser, alongside some of our office administrative needs. This role will be responsible for setting the leader up for success to execute their diverse, challenging and community-oriented mandate and includes:
1. Administrative Support (approximately 50%)
Support internal and external financial processes and goals (project and administrative) such as expense claims
Support office organizational needs, supplies, contractors, and landlord/tenant needs for a 6-person office space and 10 person overall staff
Basic legal knowledge (e.g. reviewing contracts or coordinating with legal teams) is an asset
Writing and research related to personal and professional correspondence
Potential for social media, print media, and other communications support
Presentation, report reviews, quality control, copy editing as needed.
2. Executive Support (approximately 50%)
Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Founding Principal, including calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, and document preparation
Serving as a primary contact, managing communications and ensuring a smooth workflow for daily operations
Coordinating travel for Founding Principal and other staff
Liaising with internal teams and external contacts to prioritize leadership time, personal and professional
Anticipating needs and proactively addressing challenges before they arise.
