What You Will Do
• Ensure CLS has a clean and organized office to facilitate the movement of landscape supplies
• Ensure that safe work practices are applied to all aspects of your job
• Become familiar with all products that CLS carries, how these products relate to each other, and how they are incorporated into a landscape project
• Create a rapport with customers and provide a welcoming and helpful experience to all
• Educate customers on the products and services CLS Landscape Supply offers
• Assist customers both in the office and in the yard as required to show them their options
• Produce customer invoices, sales receipts, and refunds
• Aid in quote generation and customer follow up
• Coordinate information and schedule deliveries for orders
• Receive payments and communicate account balances to customers
• Receive inventory and coordinate product delivery/pickup with customers
• Answer the phone and respond to voicemails and emails
• Perform daily cleaning procedures - including stocking shelves, dusting, and general upkeep
• Show up for work at the site at your scheduled start time
• Work full time hours as per posted schedule, with ½ an hour of unpaid lunch
• Manager will contact before 7:00 am in the case of weather cancellations
• Abide by CLS rules of conduct
Qualifications and Skills
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with industry-specific programs and software;
· Demonstrate an ability to manage time and resources to accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional planning and organizational skills;
· High degree of initiative, confidence, self-direction, flexibility and an impeccable attention to detail;
· Exceptional interpersonal skills, with friendly and professional demeanour.
