**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced receptionist to join our team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reception services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a warm and welcoming space to customers coming into our office

Manage meeting rooms, Te Whare Aorere, Parent Room, Ministry art works

Oversee our common rooms to ensure they are stocked appropriately

Monitor CCTV for any security risks and report immediately to SEC/FMT

Provide support to the Facilities Team during busy periods

Requirements:

Must have previous receptionist experience in government or a large commercial company

Strong administration, time-management and organisation skills required

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Must have experience managing contractors or customers within a corporate environment

Ideally you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols)
