Description

The Kentucky Real Estate Authority is seeking an Administrative Specialist Senior to join our team of highly skilled professionals. Candidates can expect a typical state employee work schedule with the possibility of limited localized travel to complete tasks such as delivering files and making mail runs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting board administrators with various licensing and customer service needs, such as processing licensing paperwork and providing frontline customer service to consumers and licensees during periods of high volume.
Composing complex correspondence and preparing legal forms, such as pleadings, orders, subpoenas, and other legal documents, under the direction of assigned attorney(s).
Establishing and maintaining office files, logs, indices, legal references, records, and other information in connection with the work under the supervision of the assigned attorney(s).
Assisting records custodian with records maintenance.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
