We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Administrative Support professional to join our team at the Stollery Children's Hospital. Be a part of the team committed to creating the Stollery Centre for Excellence in Virtual Health (The Centre) and lead the innovation and integration of appropriate, safe, and patient-centered virtual care along the patient journey for the Stollery family and networks of care. The Centre will support projects that provide innovative and enhanced virtual care services for all Stollery kids - locally and in rural and remote locations including culturally sensitive care to Indigenous families. This role is located at the Walter C. Mackenzie Health Sciences Centre with the opportunity to work remotely. WHAT YOU’LL DO: You will independently manage a variety of unique responsibilities, assignments, and challenges, each differing in complexity. Perform day-to-day tasks such as meeting management, assistance with recruitment, entering payroll, supports financial management, ordering supplies, creating, formatting, and editing various business documents and responding to day to day inquiries. Meeting management includes the responsibility to prioritize and coordinate action assignments tracking and reporting on work progress, decision documentation and agenda creation. Plays a critical role in communication, engagement, and marketing activities by leading the development, maintenance, and promotion of the impacts and objectives of The Centre to drive collaboration and fostering new partnerships. Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in a large, complex, and diverse organization, preferably in healthcare. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor and convey information of varying complexity to diverse audiences in a clear, efficient, and effective manner. Ability to adapt and stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment. Strong organizational, time keeping, expense management, and calendar management skills are essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently with a high level of tact, discretion, and professionalism. Expertise in formatting, grammar, syntax, and proofreading. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams). A combination of relevant education and work experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education specializing in project management, communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related discipline is ideal. Completion of additional courses in administrative, computer, digital media, managerial, project management, and/or leadership is preferred. Prior training in time-keeping courses, RMS, E-manager, Markview, iProcure, and iExpense is ideal. Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships within a healthcare sector is an asset.
