Your Opportunity:

This casual Administrative Support III position reports to the Care Manager for Children Youth & Families, Addiction and Mental Health and provides administrative support services to facilitate efficient and effective addiction and mental health services to children, youth, and their families at any of our Community Clinics. Clinic services are provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of mental health therapists, program support staff, and consulting psychiatrists. The Administrative Support III is responsible for the delivery of central reception and switchboard services at the clinic, as well as the following duties: data entry and compiling statistical information, typing and sending correspondence, managing inquiries and determining where to direct calls based on the needs of the caller, transcription of letters and mental health consultations for consulting psychiatrists and clinicians, filing and photocopying, payroll entry, booking and rescheduling appointments, checking clients in for their appointment, and anticipating the needs and demands of the program. Please note that the current schedule is Monday to Friday days and this could change in the future depending on the needs of the clinic. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in an administrative role in a health care environment is required, mental health environment is preferred. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills. Public relations skills are essential. Skill with using a computer and software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required. A minimum typing speed of 50 wpm required. Transcription experience of clinical reports is preferred. Proficiency in the utilization of a switchboard is preferred. Connect Care experience is required.
