About the Role
Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Support Officer in a continuing, full-time opportunity, where you will play a vital role in enhancing our Consumer and Community Involvement Program.
In this role, you will engage in various administrative activities that support our services and contribute to impactful area activities within the Faculty of Health Sciences.

In this role, you will, but are not limited to:
Apply knowledge of rules and regulations to support operational outcomes and provide advice.
Solve problems using established guidelines and prepare necessary documentation.
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, invitations, venue bookings, and catering arrangements.
Processing payments for consumers.
Assisting with communications (collating and sending newsletters to our database, assisting with updating website and posting on social media platforms).
Collecting and filing paperwork (i.e. member agreements, financial documents).
Monitoring the shared inbox and directing enquiries.
Answering the main phone line and directing enquires.
Assisting with phone interviews.
Assist with event logistics and general administrative and facility tasks for the Institute.
Selection Criteria – Who we are looking for:
Completion of a diploma qualification with relevant work experience; or a certificate level qualification with post certificate work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage time, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and professional interactions with diverse individuals and showcasing cross-cultural sensitivity.
Proven computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing, social media platforms, spreadsheet and email.
Working knowledge of tools like Mailchimp and Canva.
Ability to develop and maintain accurate and efficient record-keeping systems and databases to support organisational needs.
Desirable
Experience in a health research setting.
