Your Opportunity:
The IT Access Coordinator plays a key role on the Health System Access (HSA) team in the function of the centralized support for processing of IT access requests for approved non-employee research users province-wide, including new requests and renewals. Each year, the HSA team receives and processes 2500 new requests per year and 140 renewal requests per month. The Coordinator is expected to accurately enter and maintain user information in HSA's administrative database (Maestro), interpret research approval data to provision appropriate access to users and be proficient in navigating AHS' request portals. The Coordinator has responsibility for reviewing and processing of research-related IT Access requests for non-employees in compliance with research study approvals and communicating with end user after access request are received to work through specific details of the request and collect any missing requirements (i.e. signed CUA, contracts, etc.). The Coordinator will also be tasked with responding to questions that arise from the users and from AHS IT teams pertaining to user's request. Additional responsibilities may include managing the IT access renewal workflows and communications that leverage AHS' Access Certification function in IAM to ensure continuity of access for eligible research users. The Coordinator will collaboratively work with the HSA team to maintain the integrity of research administration and user data in HSA's research administration database, Maestro.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have excellent and clear communications skills, be confident and capable of corresponding with researchers and administrative offices at other institutions. Proficiency with MS Office applications is a requirement and the candidate must also have experience and facility using Adobe Acrobat to format, edit and compile documents. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure proper management of data, records and request submissions. Given the large volume of requests handled each year, organizational ability and independent decision-making are important. Must be able to operate in a paperless environment, juggling many different types of portals and databases for data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, will provide training for specialized software required for the role.
