Job Description
We are looking for permanent Administrators to work as part of our collaborative team to provide administrative services across NMIT, while also managing the flow of people through the Learner Hub. Hours of work (FTE) can be negotiable.
To be an effective team member, you will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The key responsibilities for the role are:
Manage, coordinate, and complete all administrative tasks that support assigned work area(s),
To providing excellent customer services to internal and external stakeholders,
Manage the flow of information and data entry to appropriate systems and ensure systems are fully functional, kept up to date and easily interpreted by others.

To be successful in the role you will need
Minimum of 2-3 years secondary schooling with 5+ years' experience in an administration/ business support role, OR
NCEA level 2 (or equivalent) with 4+ years' experience in an administration/ business support role OR
NCEA level 3 (or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in an administration/ business support role
And be able to demonstrate:
Proficiency working with systems and administrative processes,
Ability to work flexibly and quickly adapt to the needs of different work areas,
Have a growth mind set and embrace change
Methodical with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while working to deadlines,
Professional outlook with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement,
Proven ability to organise, multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
The following experience is desirable but not essential:
Relevant tertiary certificate or diploma in Business Administration.
Experience in a tertiary education sector.
Experience in an administrative support service center environment or where you were assigned different work areas.
Understanding of tikanga Māori and te reo Māori.
