Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People & Culture team.
Prepare HR documentation including new starters and variations of employment contracts.
Manage and complete processes for new starters, leavers, and variations, ensuring checklists are accurately followed.
Monitor and manage the People & Culture team mailbox, delivering professional and responsive support to internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate the renewal of Practising Certificates, manage the notification of changes and memberships with Legal Service Board, Law Institute of Victoria and High court.
Prepare monthly reports summarising key HR data, insights and updates for presentation to stakeholders.
Coordinate and maintain the HR systems, including but not limited to performance reviews, engagement surveys, ensuring accurate and timely input of employee performance data, facilitating processes, and generating reports.
Assist in the administration of WorkCover claims and processes.
Provide emergency SMS administration and support as required.
Manage P&C communications and update the intranet as required.
Support the Learning & Development function and Advisor with learning development systems and administration.
Maintain cyber security at all times. Cultivate an awareness of security risks, stay informed of latest cyber threats, instil best cybersecurity practises and take practical steps to protect the firm and client from cyberattacks.
Perform other reasonable tasks as requested.
Skills/Knowledge

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
Effective communication skills
Ability to work autonomously – without constant supervision
Strong attention to detail
Effective time management skills – an ability to successfully manage a number of different projects and tasks simultaneously
Experience

Experience in a corporate environment is essential
HR experience in a legal or professional services environment would be an advantage
