Roles and Responsibilities
Service desk analysts are information professionals who help users resolve their issues via Phone & remote support with computer hardware and software. By responding to user inquiries, they assess problems and issues with IT equipment and applications and help provide the most accessible solutions to resolve user issues.
Should be a Team player and must possess good knowledge of current IT standards and new.
Should be ready to work in 24/7 shift.
Ensure proper logging and tracking of user problems using the established IT ticketing systems.
Escalate and follow up more complex problems to and from the relevant 3rd line groups.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior.
The individual must possess good email etiquettes.
Provide proactive rather than reactive services.
Provide virus monitoring, remediation, and OS/application patching support.
Desired Candidate Profile
Operating systems and Office software products.
Good problem solving techniques and conflict resolution, proven training in this area required or should be attended after.
Strong written and verbal communications skills (English)
Excellent computer skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows.
Strong communication and organization skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment with minimum supervision and customer service focus.
