Job Summary:
The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing accurate information about academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid, and campus life. The role involves proactive outreach, relationship building, and administrative support to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families.
Conduct interviews, campus tours, webinars, and information sessions.
Assist students with application processes, including document submission and follow-ups.
Evaluate applications and participate in the admissions decision-making process.
Develop relationships with high schools, colleges, and community organizations.
Attend and represent the institution at college fairs, school visits, and outreach events.
Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support student onboarding.
Provide guidance on financial aid, scholarships, and enrollment steps.
Meet or exceed enrollment targets and contribute to the institution’s strategic goals.
