The Smart Owl (SOWL) is a nurturer of a learning ecosystem where growth aspirations are nurtured, and employability is increased through Learner-centric, Practical, Engaging, and Accessible learning & training experiences. The SOWL focusses on enabling Educators and Young Adults in India. As an academy that has programs curated for the future of education, there are multiple avenues we focus on.
The Smart Owl has collaborated with The Institute of Professional Banking (IPB). IPB as a brand is on a mission to train and upskill Indian graduates embarking on a career path in the Banking Sector.
We are on the lookout for an Admission Counsellor (Inside Sales) who is self-driven and a motivated go-getter. They will connect with aspiring bankers interested in entering the world of finance (banking & fintech), close admissions and help with the student’s job placements.
What you’ll do:
1. Be the face and voice of the brand for all outbound communication for the organization
2. Meet and exceed the monthly target set by the admissions team
3. Connect with students and educate them about the various career options available.
4. Generate modes for additional leads to drive enrolments i.e., from references/ self-generated data/ cold calling.
5. Completion of daily KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with monthly targets
6. The basic technical knowledge to operate the in-house CRM & ERP software.
What you’ll need:
• Self-motivation
• Knack to sell, build the brand and product awareness
• Good written & verbal communication skills in English & Malayalam
• Persistent and consistent
• Have a proven record of converting leads
• Have a passion for learning and is open to working in a dynamic environment
• Track record in establishing & maintaining relationships
• Ability to work in a startup, a drive to learn, relearn & unlearn
A successful candidate will be:
• Able to build strong relationships with students, listen to their needs and concerns, and provide them with guidance and support throughout the application process..
• Passionate about education and helping students achieve their academic and career goals, and have a deep commitment to providing excellent customer service to their clients.

Job Location - KK Nagar, Kochi - Work from Office Only
Working Hours - 9.30 to 6.30 Monday to Saturday (Except Second Saturday & Public Holiday)
Salary - 0 to 3 years - 20k to 30k fixed salary and quarterly incentive up to 30k
