Admissions Officer

Location: Windsor, Ontario

1. Student Advising:

· Provide prospective students with detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, and the application process.

· Explain the benefits of OSAP and other financial aid programs to eligible students.

· Coordinate with the Financial Aid Office on completing the OSAP application and related documentation.

2. Application Processing:

· Review and process student applications for admission.

· Ensure that all required documents for admissions are complete and accurate.

· Maintain records of all admissions-related correspondence and documents.

· Conducting and marking alternative admission tests.

· Ensure completion of the Enrollment Contract upon registration payment.

3. Interviews and Tours:

· Conduct interviews and campus tours for prospective students and their families.

· Address questions and concerns to help applicants make informed decisions.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate and organized records of all admissions-related activities.

· Generate weekly reports on admissions data, including application status and enrollment statistics.

5. Events, Outreach and Business Development:

· Represent the school at college fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events.

· Collaborate with the marketing and outreach team to develop materials and strategies for attracting prospective students.

· Contribute to the development and implementation of local and international recruitment strategies.

6. Compliance and Regulations:

· Stay up to date with OSAP regulations and changes in financial aid policies.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Private Career College Act, 2005) governing admissions and financial aid.

7. Other duties as assigned by the Canadian College of Health Science and Technology management.

Qualifications:

· Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge of OSAP and other financial aid programs.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

· Customer service-oriented with a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.

· Minimum driving license requirement: G2.

· Access to a car to drive to any events whenever required.

1. Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in admissions or student services.

· Previous experience in working at a Private Career College setting.

· Familiarity with educational software and CRM systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
