Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant specializing in D365 Advanced Warehouse Supply Chain Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing the advanced warehouse management functionalities in D365 Finance and Operations, with a strong focus on mobile app configuration and demo preparation. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business processes and to deliver effective and efficient solutions using D365.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management: Implement and configure advanced warehouse management features, including production, purchase, sales, transfer, stores, and cycle count, as per business requirements.
- Mobile App Configuration:Set up and configure standard mobile applications to enhance warehouse management processes, ensuring seamless integration with D365.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, providing expert guidance on D365 best practices.
- Solution Design:Develop functional designs and workflows for warehouse management processes, ensuring they align with client needs and D365 capabilities.
- System Configuration: Set up and configure D365 Warehouse Management, including locations, zones, work templates, and mobile device menus.
- Demo Preparation: Prepare and deliver comprehensive demos to clients, showcasing the capabilities of D365 Advanced Warehouse Management and standard mobile applications.
- Integration:Manage integration of warehouse management with other D365 modules such as production, procurement, sales, and inventory.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing of configurations and customizations, ensuring they meet functional requirements and perform optimally.
- Training & Support:Provide training to end-users and support teams, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and systems.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, staying current with D365 updates and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on advanced warehouse management in D365 Finance and Operations.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing D365 Warehouse Management solutions.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including inventory management, order processing, shipping/receiving, and material handling.
- Experience with mobile application setup and configuration for warehouse management.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering demos to clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction and process optimization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management are highly desirable.
