GES helps to win GMPs and executes them, does design, engineer andexecute all the projects based out of major engineering centers at India, China,Bucharest and Uzbekistan, helps all the Line Of Business (LOBs) to carry outengineering and process standardization to improve the engineering quality andproductivity and also supports all the LOBs in supporting migrations andlong-term service contracts.
THEOPPORTUNITY
The AdvancedCloud Lead will be responsible for designing, lead and executing Cloudsolutions implementation for the Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power, andMining Industries
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing technical support for the deployment of different applications on customers' on-prem and cloud systems.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Prepares and submits design documentation including Bill of Materials (BOM)
Analyze proprietary software Systems log files, stack traces as well as various related technology logs for root cause problem determination and troubleshoot software application issues at a code level, by stepping through the application logic for programs (proprietary languages).
Installs, maintains, and upgrades applications.
Support the Project Lead to manage customer expectations and ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures.
Research and provide infrastructure solutions to customers based on the scope and requirements.
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and procedures.
SKILL MUST HAVE
Technical experience in IT design and development with the technologies: Microsoft Azure VMware, AWS, or any cloud services.
Knowledge of system sizing of the servers.
Designing system architecture for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability and performance monitoring.
Hands-on experience with Windows Servers
Hands-on experience with Redis, Minio, OpenShift
Linux Server administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu), Shell, Perl, and Networking (Load Balancer-NGINX and HA Proxy)
Strong knowledge of software Installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
Experience in Docker Registry, Nexus, Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with Azure/VMware Backup/ restores and disaster recovery tools.
Experience with Active Directory, DNS configurations, GPO, OU structure, etc.
Good understanding of networking concepts like Firewalls, Routers and Plant control networks.
Knowledge of advanced networking concepts (Load Balancing, TCP / IP Stack, VLAN, VPN, SMTP SSL, IPSec, etc.)
Understanding concepts of SAN, NAS, and storage devices.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Sonarqube, Jenkins/Flux
Basic understanding of Cyber security and secure design.
Understanding software licensing requirements.
Scripting knowledge on PowerShell / Azure CLI– must know the commands.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
QUALIFICATIONS
in Information Technology / Computer Science Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
7-10 years of experience in on-prem and cloud solutions.
DESIRABLE
Certification Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
Microsoft/Linux/CCNA Certification
