Description Designation: Advanced Software Engineer. Experience: 8 to 14 years. Location: Bangalore/ Chennai Technical Skills & Expertise • SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot T SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints). • Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU,memory,I/O, disk space and other resource contention. • Working knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands. • Working knowledge of indexes, index management, and integrity checks, configuration, patching. • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options Using FCI/Always on for SQL Server. • Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements. • Having knowledge in SSIS /SSRS is desirable. • NoSQL administration/development experience in MongoDB is added advantage. Responsibilities • Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements. • Ensure performance security, and availability of databases. • Prepare documentations and specifications. • Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. • Profile server resource usage and optimize and tweak as necessary. • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in related field.
