Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the goals and values of CareerArc, while ensuring a safe and healthy workplace that meets the requirements of the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and compliant with the VON Safety Management System, including all Policies, Safe Work Practices and Procedures. They will also abide by all VON policies and work practices, maintain confidentiality and protection of personal information, and work collaboratively with other staff in a team approach to service delivery. Furthermore, they will collaborate with RN-APs and other healthcare providers, communicate with clients and their families, interact with healthcare administrators and policymakers, and engage with professional nursing organizations and regulatory bodies.
