Position Overview
Applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing and evaluation of software and computer systems. Works cross-functionally to understand business requirements, evaluate alternative approaches and ensure software and systems are designed to facilitate accessibility and ease of use. Incorporates state of the art concepts and practices to facilitate system functionality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Define, create, maintain and execute both automated tests for existing products with medium to complex testing efforts
Develop and execute acceptance tests
Drive and implement as needed automated testing strategies
Participates in the definition and development of test automation tools & utilities, performance testing and automated test data generation
Identify and provide feedback on the gap/anomalies in the requirements (user stories)
Determine problem root causes of multiple symptoms, propose and validate the solutions
Work with local and remote resources to drive a test strategy based on quality-centric methodologies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
Involvement with pre-deployment validation activities
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a tester, developer or other relevant role
Experience with testing and automation of Mobile apps is required
Performance testing for Cloud based solutions
Ability to create automated tests from user stories, execute tests and record results
Experience with automated testing frameworks, tools and services
Knowledge of/Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Demonstrated ability to write test automation scripts for new functionality
Ability to proactively learn and apply test design principles
Demonstrated application of strong analytical skills

Excellent written & verbal communication skills
