Position Overview:
As an Advertising Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the advertising activities of the organisation. The role plays a critical part in developing and implementing advertising and promotional strategies to support business growth, strengthen brand positioning, and enhance the organisation’s reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate all advertising activities of the organisation in line with business objectives and brand strategy.
· Direct the development and implementation of advertising and promotional strategies to support sales growth, market penetration and customer engagement.
· Direct the development and execution of strategies to promote the organisation’s goods and services across appropriate advertising channels and media platforms.
· Direct the development and implementation of strategies to strengthen brand image, reinforce brand loyalty and increase consumption of the organisation’s products and services.
· Oversee the creation, delivery and evaluation of advertising campaigns to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and organisational objectives.
· Develop and manage advertising budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effective allocation of advertising resources.
· Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour and campaign performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising strategies and inform future planning.
· Build and maintain the organisation’s image and reputation with customers, investors and the wider public through effective advertising and brand communication.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, external agencies, media partners and service providers to coordinate advertising activities and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
· Monitor and report on advertising outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications or a related field is preferred but not essential.
· Demonstrated experience in advertising, marketing or brand-related roles, with involvement in planning and managing advertising activities.
· Sound knowledge of advertising strategy, brand development and campaign management.
· Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to liaise with internal teams and external service providers.
· Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment.
