As an Advertising Specialist, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute effective advertising campaigns to promote products, services, or brands and increase customer engagement and sales. You will work closely with the marketing team, clients, and vendors to create impactful advertising strategies across various channels, including print, digital, social media, and broadcast.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop advertising strategies Collaborate with clients and the marketing team to understand business objectives, target audience, and key messages. Develop comprehensive advertising strategies that align with the client's goals and budget.
2. Campaign planning and execution: Plan and execute advertising campaigns across multiple channels. Determine the most appropriate media mix, negotiate rates with media vendors, and manage advertising budgets effectively.
3. Creative development: Work with creative teams, including graphic designers and copywriters, to develop compelling and engaging ad content. Ensure that the creative elements align with the brand's identity and communicate the desired message effectively.
4. Media buying and placement: Identify relevant media outlets and negotiate media buying and placement. Monitor and optimize campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to maximize reach and impact.
5. Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify target audience preferences, trends, and competitors' activities. Analyze advertising campaigns' performance using metrics and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of different channels and strategies.
6. Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media vendors, and advertising agencies. Collaborate with external partners to execute campaigns seamlessly and ensure timely delivery of advertising materials.
7. Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising. Apply new knowledge to enhance advertising strategies and drive innovation.
8. Compliance and regulations: Ensure advertising materials comply with legal and regulatory requirements, such as copyright laws, industry standards, and advertising guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Advertising Specialist, Advertising Coordinator, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of advertising principles, media planning, and campaign execution.
- Familiarity with various advertising channels, including print, digital, social media, and broadcast.
- Proficiency in using advertising and analytics tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal/external stakeholders effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative advertising strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to advertising.
- A portfolio of successful advertising campaigns is a plus
