We are looking for a Social Media executive who can enhance brand IIM Nagpur and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media executive will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between the stakeholders and the Institute. The executive will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns as per Institute requirement.
Essential Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication / Journalism /Social Media or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Communication / Journalism /Social Media / Marketing etc.
Minimum Three Years of Experience in handling communication, media, marketing, branding and social media platforms for Public / Private Sector undertaking
Additional Qualification/ Skills Required:
Exceptional multi-tasking skills, ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way. Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms, creating post, graphics, posting etc.
In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements, practical knowledge of creatives, marketing, engagement/metrics, publicity metrics and social media posting, tracking, reporting.
Age: Min. 25 Years – Max. 35 Years. Age Relaxation: As per GOI Norms.
Job Profile:
Duties and responsibilities of the appointed person will include but are not limited to the following:
To develop social media campaigns that help to achieve mass connect/goals.
Create gripping content, analyse public feedback.
Collaborating with Videographers/Multimedia Designers to ensure that posts are engaging.
Optimizing content for publication across various social media sites.
Scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
Monitoring users’ engagement with and feedback on every post.
Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the concerned authorities.
Monitor Institute social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.
Create methods for finding and saving online customer reviews.
Plan and execute digital media marketing campaign.
Analyse the long-term needs of the Institute’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
Any other duties / responsibility assigned by the senior officials as per functional requirement of the Institute.
Reporting To:
The selected person will report to the Assistant Officer – Communication & Media.
Salary & Benefits:
Selected candidate will be offered a contractual appointment initially for One year on a consolidated monthly salary commensurate with qualification and experience along with other allowances / benefits such as Group Mediclaim Insurance, Development allowance, accommodation on campus, LTC and other allowances. The candidate may be offered an extension / a regular position based on the availability of the position, performance of the candidate and need of the Institute.
