Job Role

We are seeking an Advisor to join our Global Government Relations team to help us advocate for our mission and improve health and save lives.

Where You Will Work

You will be working as part of a broader Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships (GRSP) team within the Policy and Partnerships division, reporting to the Head of Global Government Relations.

This is a great opportunity to test out your political analysis and thinking, bringing insights from the external environment and policy developments to shape our strategy and build our footprint in Westminster and Whitehall.

Your Responsibilities

As an Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Providing political analysis and insights to inform our strategy and decision-making

Building relationships with politicians and policymakers in the UK

Representing the Wellcome Trust's interests and values in government and public policy discussions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A strong understanding of the UK political landscape and current issues in health and wellbeing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze complex information and develop effective strategies
