What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Compliance and Risk, the Advisor, Corporate Governance supports the delivery of corporate governance, risk and compliance activities in advance of, and during, the 2026 State Election. The role helps ensure the VEC remains compliant with its corporate obligations and contributes to policy development, minor projects and research. Working within a small team, the position applies professional judgement within established frameworks, with guidance provided where required.

This role will be responsible for:
; Maintaining and reviewing risk registers, control registers and compliance reporting materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
; Analysing governance, risk and business continuity information to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
; Coordinating documentation, meetings and tracking of actions across compliance and risk activities.

; Demonstrated ability to review governance, risk or business continuity information and identify issues or improvement opportunities.
; High attention to detail, particularly in written documentation and reporting.
