About Spatial Services
Spatial Services, a division of the Department of Customer Service, is the key provider of spatial land information services in New South Wales. Its integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive suite of land and property services, including property information, surveying, and mapping. Spatial Services provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organisations across NSW, throughout Australia, and internationally.
About the role
The Advisor Customer Insights will focus on continuously improving our Spatial Services products and services. You will lead efforts to measure customer sentiment, gather data for business intelligence activities, and communicate results to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build dashboards and generate reports to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Work with key internal stakeholders to inform and influence business decisions.
Lead exploratory analysis to uncover meaningful customer insights and enhance the digital customer experience.
Proactively profile, analyse, and interpret campaign data and results.
Translate insights into improved future solutions, analyses, and recommendations.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Strong knowledge, experience, and/or relevant qualifications or training in business intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
A good understanding of the products and services associated with Spatial Services.
Experience using Spatial Services–related business, administrative, information, and financial systems.
Proficiency with a range of software applications, including (but not limited to) Splunk, Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel), Power BI, Python, and JIRA.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a high‑volume environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business.
The ability to work towards tight deadlines.
