Job description, work day and responsibilities

This role will require you to:
• Develop and maintain governance processes for the Learning Management System (LMS), Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) and other specified systems; ensure compliance with business rules and system requirements; develop and update manuals, guides, templates, and training materials.
• Develop and deliver training for course administrators and other specified systems users; provide advice on effective system usage; guide and support team
members.
• Define, document, and regularly update processes and work instructions to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Test new courses, system updates, and enhancements; coordinate system reviews for optimal performance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders; provide ongoing support and training; liaise with system providers to resolve issues and identify enhancements.
• Assess system performance with subject matter experts; recommend modifications to enhance effectiveness and user satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate reporting of system status and issues; analyse and report data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Conduct audits to ensure privacy and compliance; perform regular assessments to maintain system integrity.
• Contribute to the development of system security processes; including identification of security risks and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team.
The Workforce Strategy and Systems unit is one of four units in the People, Capability and Culture Branch of Corporate Services. The People, Capability and Culture Systems team provide helpdesk services and system support for Department of Justice and Attorney-General's enterprise-wide Human Resources systems, including the Learning Management and Health, Safety and Wellbeing systems. The team is responsible for ensuring reliable systems and support is available for the human resources systems.
