About the role
We're growing our Infrastructure Advisory team in Sydney and are looking for driven, analytical and curious consultants to join us.

Whether you come from the public or private sector, if you've got up to 5 years' experience in economic and financial evaluation, business case development, or data analysis, we'd love to hear from you. Our work spans a wide range of impactful infrastructure and policy projects across Property & Infrastructure, particularly the Water sector.

You'll join a dynamic and supportive team delivering economic and financial analysis, business cases, and strategic advice for major infrastructure and policy initiatives. No two days are the same - you'll work closely with clients to solve real-world problems using data, economics, and structured thinking. There's also plenty of opportunity to collaborate across our national network and take part in secondments or transfers if that's something that interests you.

Key Responsibilities:
Using economic principles and data to assess complex infrastructure and policy problems.
Developing financial and economic models to support investment decisions.
Preparing clear, insightful and well-structured reports and presentations.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across sectors and geographies.
Supporting business case and feasibility study development.
About you
A degree in economics, finance, planning or a related discipline.
Up to 5 years' experience in economic/financial advisory, ideally within a Big 4, boutique consultancy or government setting.
Experience in business case development, cost-benefit analysis, economic impact assessment or related evaluation methods.
Familiarity with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Python is a plus.
A strong communicator who can translate technical detail into clear advice.
Collaborative, motivated, and keen to work across a variety of sectors.
Please note: In your cover letter, please describe a project where you applied economic or financial analysis to support a decision or solve a problem. What was your approach, and how did your insights contribute to the outcome?

In addition, describe a time you had to explain a complex issue to a non-technical audience. How did you ensure they understood?
