Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Directors of the CPA Firm, the Forensic Accounting & Business Valuation Manager is the lead on all engagements / cases and advises clients with expert reports and / or analyses during litigation and investigations matters to assist them in legal recoveries or defense
Primary liaison for all client related matters of engagements
Manage all detailed fact finding and accounting research and analysis
Directs and develops computer models including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analysis
Responsible for data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities
Leads appropriate Firm members and others as appropriate
Responsible for engagement planning
Prepares client communications for senior level review
Engagement Methodology
Provides quality services clearly apparent to clients while utilizing sound business judgment
Understanding of corporate and individual tax issues, accounting principles and financial models
Effectively utilizes information technology in performing and managing the engagement
Submits well documented and effective presentation of issues researched, identified and resolved
Engagement Management
Thoroughly understands total litigation process and manages multiple engagements simultaneously
Engagement Communication
Keeps Director apprised of engagement thrusts and client concerns and regularly prepares client status reports
Engagement Economics
Achieves agreed upon profitability objectives
Knowledge of Clients
Helps identify key client issues and their main concerns, extracting implications for future work
Documentation
Performs thorough review of engagement documentation and identifies all issues

What you bring :
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and / or Finance
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
• 5+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, business valuation, report delivery, financial consulting, and / or financial modeling
• Certification / Degree preferred as an accounting major, CPA, MBA, ABV, CVA, CFF and / or CFE
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing in English
• Works with confidential client matters, requires ability to keep matters confidential
• Prior experience working in a CPA firm
