Impact
As a Advisory Software Engineer, you will be part of the Innovation team that supports and maintains mission critical enterprise applications.
You will be a part of cloud DevOps group that is also responsible for development of cloud ready applications.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Kubernetes Engineer who is highly skilled and can work independently. You will be responsible for implementing design patterns for distributed systems, configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines, etc. You should have experience with microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
The Job
• Design, build and run elastic, cost-effective, resilient, robust, and secure architectures in the cloud using modern approaches like service-mesh and loosely coupled design
• Design containerized applications on Kubernetes for - low latency ML Prediction APIs, Data Engineering Pipelines, ML Model serving over Kubernetes
• Manage different Kubernetes providers (Amazon EKS and Fargate) or run your own
• Design & implement Network connectivity, Provisioning Strategy and Security for Kubernetes Clusters
• Assess & Design RBAC needs to ensure cloud foundation is strong and compliant
• Maintain, configure, and monitor containers by applying Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform
• Work with other Architects on Security, Data protection, and Failover Failback strategies.
• Implement Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment using different CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins
• Follow and implement DevOps practices
• Support the operational environment that provides the company client facing applications and meets the requirements of service availability and recoverability
• Routinely identifies technical and operational problems by observing and studying system architecture, functionality, and performance results
• Improves operational quality results by studying, evaluating, and recommending process re architecting, implementing changes, contributing information and opinion with Engineering, Testing & Product teams to be aligned with Business
What we expect :
• Experience in design, development, and deployment of Kubernetes applications to Production
• Experience in ML Model API serving over Kubernetes
• Demonstrate Ownership and accountability
• Demonstrate leadership and drive the team to achieve goals
• Ability to work as a team and individually for troubleshooting/investigating problems
• You understand observability, what are the key metrics to monitor, and how to establish a monitoring foundation on Kubernetes
• You are proficient in a wide variety of Cloud Native Services, and to an extent able to consult the team on which ones to use according to the requirements
Qualifications & Skills required :
This is a critical software development role requiring experience with complex transactional and large-scale applications.

ÂThe role requires a talented self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills:
• Graduate or Postgraduate (preferably in computer science or related course)
• 5+ years relevant experience in DevOps and Kubernetesk
• Understanding and hands-on of AWS Services – EC2, VPC, Networking, Route 53, Elastic Load-Balancing, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, WAF, IAM, Lambda, SQS, etc.
• Strong CI/CD skills, good hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Docker, Terraform.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Batch, Shell-scripting, PowerShell
• Knowledge of any backend programming such as Python, Java, .Net Core, Go
• CKA/CKAD Certification is preferred
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
• Ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams
