The Job
• Serve as the System Admin, a core member of our technical team, having ultimate responsibility for the health of Pitney Bowes' platform, including but not limited to:
• Platform security and technical roadmap
• Critical updates and seasonal releases pushed from
• DevOps integration to Flosum, GitHub, Jenkins, static code scans, and test script execution
• Sandbox management
• Installation and maintenance of managed packages
• Tracking and maintenance of digital certificates
• Management of data backup and recovery tool
• Service and integration account password management
• Routine administrative activities (permission set assignment, call center assignment, queue membership, delegated admin, group membership) as required
• Working closely with the support team, development team, architect, IT security team, and integrating partners, ensure platform stability and availability by
• Monitoring application and system events
• Monitoring and maintaining appropriate distance from Salesforce governor limits
• Addressing findings from annual security reviews and org health assessment tools
• Coordinating with IT security to perform code scans to identify security vulnerabilities
• Working with the broader team to meet mean-time-to-resolution MTTR goals
• Comply with audit & SOX requirements
• Stay current on best practices to ensure we are working smart and avoiding known issues
• Maintain high level of Salesforce technical expertise to be able to consult on technical challenges, identify deficiencies, help set operational goals and platform roadmap.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
• At lease 2 - 4 years experience as a Salesforce administrator
• Excellent language and interpersonal skills
Must have:
• Ability to communicate in a remote environment, provide proactive updates, and keep all parties in matrixed environment informed
• Time management skills to perform both daily administrative duties while also meeting project commitments
• Ability to take initiative
• Attention to details
