Job Description
An AEM Site Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) websites. The AEM Site Developer works with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to create engaging and responsive digital experiences for users.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain AEM websites, including content creation and management, custom component development, and site administration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers front-end developers, and back-end developers, to implement designs and features
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement best practices for coding standards, security, accessibility, and performance optimization
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AEM development
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, as well as implement fixes
• Work within agile development methodology to deliver high-quality software on time and on budget
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in AEM development and implementation
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, components, templates, workflows, and integration with other systems
• Proficient in Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
• Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and integration with third-party systems
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Preferred qualifications:
• AEM Developer Certification
• Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience with mobile app development and integration with AEM
