Create and refine CNC programs for diverse aerospace components using CAD/CAM software.
Configure and run CNC machines, helping to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Work closely with engineers and production team members to identify and correct programming challenges.
Perform routine inspections of machined components to verify adherence to required specifications.
Keep detailed records of programming modifications and machine configurations.
Keep abreast of new developments and trends in CNC technology.
Provide guidance and support to less experienced programmers and machinists when necessary.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as a CNC Programmer, ideally within the aerospace sector.
Expertise in CAD/CAM software applications such as Mastercam or SolidWorks.
Solid grasp of CNC machining techniques and tooling.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
High school diploma or GED equivalent; a technical degree or certification in CNC programming is desirable.
