To enable the sustainment of this growth there is a requirement to recruit new key team members. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive NDT Technician with the skills and potential to operate with a high level of autonomy and independence.
Responsible To
The post holder is directly responsible to and managed by the NDT On Wing Manager.
Overall Purpose of the Job
The post holder’s primary purpose is to provide NDT testing expertise to the NDT department predominately on-wing at the customers facilities. As required you will occasionally also support the in-house NDT Testing department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Day to day activities to include but not limited to:
• To support the NDT testing requirements of our On-wing customers
• To travel to our customers facilities
• To carry out the required inspections
• To complete the approved documentation including certifying the work in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting with the management and authorisation of customer invoices
• Ensuring customer work packs are complete and accurate prior to filing
• Assist with the management of NDT tooling and equipment
• To assist with the efficient running of the department by contributing improvement ideas
• Liaising and supporting other departments with progress information and technical knowledge
Essential Skills
The NDT Technician must have the following essential skills and experience:
• Aerospace Level II in the following NDT inspection methods:
• Eddy Current
• Ultrasonic
• Dye Penetrant
• Radiography
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Thermography
• Magnetic Particle
Note: Can be either EN417+ or PCN
• Experience of working in a Part 145 environment
• Experience of working in a “Live” hangar environment.
• Is computer literate and competent using the MS Office suite
• Have full-driving licence

Terms and Conditions.
This is a full time permanent role.
The hours of work are: 40 hours (Predominately Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00) however given the nature of the aerospace business they must be flexible, to meet the job requirements. Overtime available as required. The use of a company vehicle will be provided.
