Summary
đź’Ľ Part-Time (with full-day hours on school breaks and holidays)
Hours:
🏫 During the school year: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM
🎒 School holidays & break days: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
We’re licensed and guided by Georgia’s DECAL (Department of Early Care and Learning) and follow Bright from the Start (BFTS) standards to ensure a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
Now, we’re looking for a School-Age Staff Member who brings energy, creativity, and a heart for kids to our before and after-school program.
Duties
What You’ll Do
Welcome and supervise children ages 5–12 in before/after-school program during school break & holidays.
Lead fun activities—arts and crafts, games, learning stations, and outdoor play.
Support students with homework and encourage good habits and positive choices.
Help with snack time, cleanup, and classroom transitions.
Keep children safe and engaged while following all DECAL and BFTS rules.
Communicate kindly and clearly with parents and fellow staff.
Bring joy and patience to every day (we’re big on both)!
Requirements
What You Need
Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Prior experience working with children (camp, classroom, church group, babysitting—all great!).
Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid and DECAL-required training (we’ll help).
Clear background check and fingerprinting (required by DECAL).
Team spirit, reliability, and a playful, positive attitude!
Nice To Haves

Experience with school-age programs, behavior guidance, or enrichment activities
A knack for storytelling, coaching, crafting, dancing, or building with LEGOs, and STEM
A heart for ministry and a desire to be a role model for young minds
Associate's degree in child development or certificate from accredited afterschool program
