The Opportunity:
We are hiring After-School Program Staff to support our beyond 3:30 program. These are part-time, contract positions (August 25, 2026 to June 26, 2026), Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Hours may change based on program needs and school schedules.
beyond 3:30 is a unique initiative that provides after school programming focused on healthy living and learning opportunities in the arts for middle school children, Monday-Friday in one of the places they trust the most, their local school. It supports priority communities through innovative partnering between a wide variety of local community organizations and corporations. beyond 3:30 is operating in 21 select middle-school locations across the city.
Academic Support Staff ($20/hr)
Support students through homework help, literacy and numeracy activities, and leadership development in a fun, inclusive environment.
Recreation Staff ($1+/hr)
Lead engaging physical activities, sports, and games that promote teamwork, fair play, and healthy living.
Nutrition Staff ($1+/hr)
Prepare and serve healthy meals, facilitate our Junior Chefs’ Club, and teach students about nutrition and food literacy.
All positions report to the Site Coordinator and are ideal for individuals who enjoy working with youth, have strong communication and leadership skills, and thrive in a collaborative, community-focused setting. Relevant experience or education, First Aid, and HIGH FIVE training are assets (or willing to obtain shortly after hire).
Please note that as a condition of employment, the successful applicant must complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Reference Check.
